Planning a wedding in Paris in three months: Mission accomplished!

Planning a wedding in three months may seem like an impossible mission, especially when the bride and groom live thousands of miles away.

But with the right planning, a dose of creativity and a dedicated team of experts, this challenge can turn into a fairytale.

Here's the inspiring story of a couple living in the United States who chose to say ‘I do’ in Paris, in the prestigious setting of the Hôtel Le Marois, with just three months to prepare.

Origin of the project

When Andra and Timmu, a couple living in New York, contacted us, they had a very clear vision: an intimate, elegant and authentically Parisian wedding.

Having always dreamed of the City of Light, they wanted their union to reflect the timeless elegance of Paris while providing an unforgettable experience for their loved ones.

The challenge? They had three months to organise everything and could only travel to France a week before the big day.

Fortunately, they put their trust in us to make their dream come true.

Choice of venue: Hotel Le Marois

The location was essential to create the atmosphere they wanted.

After meticulous research, my colleague Judith (@boldaslove_weddings) and I suggested the Hôtel Le Marois, located in the 8th arrondissement.

This 19th-century mansion, formerly the American Embassy, with its ornate ceilings, gilding and magnificent salons, was the perfect embodiment of Parisian elegance.

In addition to its enchanting setting, the Hôtel Le Marois offers flexible spaces that are equally suited to an intimate ceremony or a grand reception.

Remote coordination

With different time zones and time constraints, communication was crucial.

We organised regular video calls to go over every detail: the choice of suppliers, the design of the decoration, the menu and the logistics.

We worked with trusted service providers to ensure perfect execution.

The House of Prose florists created romantic arrangements in shades of red, while we designed a romantic, modern and elegant scenography.

The Wedding Day : a magical day

The big day arrived, and everything was ready at Hôtel Le Marois to welcome the bride and groom and their 50 guests from the United States and Estonia, the bride and groom's country of origin.

The ceremony took place on the majestic grand staircase, followed by a cocktail reception in the hotel lobby, accompanied by the team's musicians. @Whispernotemusic.

The reception was a veritable feast for the senses: a typically French dinner, accompanied by the finest wines, and a jazzy musical atmosphere provided by the live band. @Whispernotemusic

All immortalised by the team of photographers @jnesaisquoi.studio as well as by @sokowedding who made the day so special.

What we have learned

This wedding proved that with careful planning and a dedicated team, it is possible to organise an exceptional event in record time.

The key to success? Fluid communication, reliable partners and a clear vision of the bride and groom's priorities.

Andra and Timmu were delighted with the result, and their guests left Paris with unforgettable memories.

This wedding is proof that, even with the constraints of time and distance, anything is possible when you work with passion and precision.

Conclusion

If you're dreaming of a Paris wedding, don't let time or distance hold you back.

With an experienced team and the perfect venue in the heart of Paris, your wedding can be as magical as Andra and Timmy's.
